**Job Summary**:
The Legal Secretary will provide essential administrative and clerical support to attorneys and other legal staff, focusing on drafting contracts, managing correspondence, and ensuring effective communication with clients and team members. This role requires a deep understanding of legal terminology and procedures, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced legal environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Contract Drafting and Review**:
- Prepare, proofread, and revise various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
- Assist in drafting standard contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Coordinate with attorneys and relevant departments to make necessary amendments to contract drafts.
- Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documentation.
- **Communication Management**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and external parties, handling inquiries professionally.
- Schedule and confirm meetings, conference calls, and appointments, coordinating communication between attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Draft and distribute routine correspondence, notices, and legal updates.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Organize and manage the attorneys' calendars, prioritizing tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain an efficient filing system for case documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Prepare billing documentation, track expenses, and assist in budget management for cases and projects.
- Manage office supplies, records, and other resources required to support attorneys and staff.
- **Legal Research Assistance**:
- Conduct preliminary legal research to gather relevant information on cases and legal matters as directed.
- Stay updated on relevant legal policies, regulations, and court proceedings.
- **File and Document Management**:
- Ensure that all case documents and files are maintained in compliance with legal standards.
- Create, manage, and archive both digital and physical files, adhering to confidentiality policies and data protection regulations.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal secretary, with a focus on contract drafting and legal correspondence.
- **Skills**:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software (e.g., Clio, LexisNexis, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and professional legal documents.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
