Arte Recruitments is seeking an Assistant Pastry Cook for a prestigious client in Mauritius. This is a two-year contract offering a competitive salary, with food, accommodation, and travel costs covered by the company.

Role Overview:Assist the Demi Chef de Partie/Pastry Chef in preparing bread, pastries, and desserts. Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize workstations. Portion cakes and bake basic pastries for breakfast buffet. Prepare ingredients for lunch and dinner mise en place. Display final products and clear buffet after service. Manage pancake station for breakfast and afternoon tea. Assist in other outlets as needed. Perform tasks as assigned by the Pastry Chef.

Requirements:Essential:

- Education:Form 4, NC3 Food Production.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years.
- Skills:Organizational, planning, and good communication. Attributes:Confident, well-groomed, warm, and pleasant personality; integrity and hygiene-conscious; knowledge of HACCP.Desirable:

- Education:School Certificate. Experience: Previous experience in hospitality. Additional Skills: Creativity, hotel operations knowledge, time management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
