Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor

Location: Bangalore
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide effective leadership and supervision to the kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Plan and organize daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely food preparation and delivery.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain high standards.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food handling practices.
- Train and develop kitchen staff on culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other supervisors to create and update menus, considering customer preferences, seasonal availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure adequate supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following sanitation and cleaning standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and food safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and computerized ordering systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is preferred.
