**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Continental dishes, including but not limited to Italian, French, and Mediterranean cuisine, according to standardized recipes and specifications.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in planning menus, developing new recipes, and creating specials that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary creativity.
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking techniques meet established health and safety standards, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, in proper cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following mise en place principles to ensure efficient workflow during service.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in placing orders for ingredients and supplies as needed to minimize waste and maintain cost control.
- Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to coordinate timing and ensure the smooth execution of menu items during service periods.
- Uphold high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, consistently delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen hygiene.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cooking techniques, and emerging ingredients to continuously improve culinary skills and creativity.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Line Cook specializing in Continental cuisine, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Formal culinary training and/or certification from a recognized culinary institute or apprenticeship program preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors, with a passion for creating authentic and innovative dishes.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of kitchen staff in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for long periods, lift heavy pots and pans, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and willingness to uphold strict hygiene standards at all times.
- Creativity, passion, and a genuine love for food and cooking.
Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
