Sales Governance Officer

he Sales Governance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing sales governance[PT1] processes and policies within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that all sales activities within the organization comply with relevant legal regulations and internal policies. Your role will involve a combination of legal expertise, regulatory knowledge, and sales operations management and internal guidelines as per DMSG.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Legal Compliance**: Utilize your expertise in law to ensure that all sales activities, strategies, and processes adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to sales operations and proactively implement necessary adjustments.
- **Policy Development**: Collaborate with the legal team and other stakeholders to develop and implement sales governance policies and procedures. These policies should align with legal requirements and company objectives while promoting ethical conduct and fair business practices.
- **Contract Review**: Review and analyze sales contracts, agreements, and proposals to identify any legal risks or compliance issues. Provide guidance and recommendations to sales teams on contract negotiation and terms to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance.
- **Training and Education**: Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate sales teams and other relevant personnel on legal and compliance matters. Ensure that employees understand their responsibilities and obligations concerning sales governance and compliance.
- **Policy Development**: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory inquiries or audits related to sales operations.
- **Investigations and Remediation**: Lead or support investigations into alleged violations of sales governance policies or legal requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal counsel to address issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
- **Reporting and Monitoring**: Establish mechanisms for monitoring and reporting on sales governance metrics, compliance performance, and adherence to policies. Generate reports and dashboards to track key indicators and provide insights for management decision-making.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in law or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in compliance or governance is a plus.
- Proven experience in legal compliance, governance, or regulatory affairs, preferably in a sales or commercial environment.
- Strong understanding of contract law, sales regulations, and compliance frameworks relevant to the industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends or anomalies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
