**About the role**:
**The Position requires: -**
The Sales Governance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing sales governance processes and policies within the organization. They will work closely with sales teams, Business Heads, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines as per DMSG.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and maintain sales governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Monitor sales activities and transactions to identify potential compliance issues or irregularities.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of sales processes, documentation, and systems to ensure adherence to governance standards.
- Provide guidance and training to sales teams on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory inquiries or audits related to sales operations.
- Investigate and resolve any reported instances of non-compliance or misconduct in sales activities.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices related to sales governance, and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments.
- Analyze data and metrics related to sales performance and compliance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Prepare reports and presentations on sales governance activities, findings, and recommendations for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Act as a liaison between sales teams and internal departments to facilitate communication and alignment on governance matters.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Law, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in compliance or governance is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales governance, compliance, or related field, preferably within the similar industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to sales operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends or anomalies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
