Space-MAP represents a revolutionary end-to-end infrastructure for sustainable space operations, offering a comprehensive space situational awareness solution that simplifies and strengthens satellite operations in the face of the rapidly expanding commercialization of space.

Digantara is seeking an AVP[Government Sales] to lead our efforts in securing and managing government contracts within the Aerospace and Defence sector. They will be critical in developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships with government officials, and driving revenue growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the Government/PSU sector.
- Identify and foster relationships with key decision-makers in government organizations and Public Sector Units (PSUs).
- Prepare persuasive technical and financial proposals customized to the specific requirements of Government/PSU clients.
- Deliver presentations and conduct product demonstrations for senior-level officials in government/PSU organizations.
- Lead negotiations with government/PSU clients, handle concerns or objections, and finalize sales contracts. Acquire an in-depth understanding of Government procurement processes (Tendering/Gem), policies, and mandates.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape relevant to government sales.
- Furnish regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with existing government clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 8 years of experience in domestic Government sales within the Aerospace & Defence sector OR ex-military with a minimum of 4 years of similar experience
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level officials
- Ability to effectively lead and energize the team to meet/exceed sales plans
