Banquet Sales Coordinator

**JOB SCOPE SUMMARY**
Responsible for the smooth functioning and administration of the sales and marketing department and assisting all team members in back office operations including customer contact and communication
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide support to the team members by handling day to day operations of the sales department.
- Handle office management for the sales and marketing department including travel arrangements and other administrative assistance.
- Maintain an inventory of all sales & marketing collateral in collaboration with the graphic artist and ensure that it is stored properly in order to prevent any damage or wastage. Ensure all sales kits and other marketing tools and supplies are available when required and the requisite quantity stored in the office.
- Ensure all activity assigned is completed as per schedule and deadlines and as per priority assigned to the job. Multi-tasking to ensure several activities are balanced.
- Handle guest/ customer calls received at the department and record all messages / reservation requests/ queries and assign to appropriate sales person. Take responsibility to ensure action is taken wherever possible.
- Form engaging professional relationships with customers and win their trust to handle some of their requests from time to time
- Coordinate between the sales and other departments in the hotel whenever required to ensure guest requests received at the department are actioned and communicated back to the guest/ customer.
- Assist the department in forming reports and presentations as directed. Ensure files are maintained as required.
- Maintain the central database of the sales and marketing department and update it periodically
- Track competition data received from various sources and record it for future reference
- Handle correspondence for the sales department. Assist in the distribution of marketing communication to various databases of the sales and marketing department.

**QUALIFICATION STANDARD**
Education: Graduate
Experience: Minimum of 1 years experience as administrative / sales assistant in a similar scale of operation.
Additional Skill required: Basic understanding of hotel operations and interest in sales and marketing
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹14,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
