Banquet Sales Coordinator

Job Summary:
The banquet coordinator would be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of banquets and events. This includes working with clients to plan event details, coordinating food and beverage, arranging room set-up, managing vendors, and ensuring events run smoothly.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of banquet events, including but not limited to venue setup, catering, etc.
- Meet with clients to determine event requirements, budget, and expectations
- Suggest venue options, menus based on client needs
- Develop event plans and timelines for execution, including floor plans, vendor requirements, staff schedules, etc.
- Coordinate food and beverage planning with catering department
- Oversee room layouts and table arrangements
- Direct event set up and coordinate staff
- Supervise event staff during events to ensure excellent client service
- Proactively handle any issues that arise to minimize disruption
- Conduct pre-event and post-event debriefs with clients
- Maintain relationships with regular venue clients and businesses
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years banquet/event planning experience
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, banquet service standards, and venue logistics.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong client service orientation
- Exceptional menu planning skills
- Knowledge of event catering, set up, rentals, and coordination
- Budget management skills
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
