**Job Summary**:
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company by managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. This role ensures that all financial transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner, providing support for monthly and year-end financial reporting. The Bookkeeper works closely with the accounting team and other departments to ensure that financial data is accurate and compliant with company policies and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank transactions.
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper coding in the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments, ensuring they are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Monitor and manage accounts payable, ensuring that all invoices are paid on time and in accordance with payment terms.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment status, discrepancies, or outstanding invoices.
- Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and manage overdue accounts.
- **Payroll Processing**:

- Assist in processing payroll, including calculating hours worked, overtime, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure that all payroll-related information is accurate, processed on time, and compliant with tax regulations.
- Prepare and file payroll taxes and other statutory deductions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- **Financial Reporting & Analysis**:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for management, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Review financial reports to ensure accuracy and make necessary corrections to accounting records.
- Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
- **Tax Compliance**:

- Ensure proper recording and timely payment of taxes (e.g., sales tax, VAT, payroll taxes).
- Assist with year-end tax filings and the preparation of tax returns.
- Work with external auditors during audit processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- **Documentation and Filing**:

- Maintain organized financial records and documentation, both digital and physical, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Ensure all financial records are properly filed and easily accessible for audits and internal reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure proper security of records.
- **Bank Reconciliations**:

- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank accounts, ensuring smooth reconciliation with financial records.
- **General Ledger Management**:

- Ensure accurate general ledger entries by reviewing and posting journal entries.
- Assist with adjusting entries as needed, ensuring the general ledger reflects accurate financial data.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks Certified User (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
