Introduction:
The CFO Business Partner is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the businesses supported. They will work in close partnership with the Transaction Banking and Corporate Business Heads globally, and support the Corporate Finance Director to drive commercial analytics, support external narrative, challenge the business and shape the strategy of the overall Corporate Business.

What will you be doing?
- Supporting the business performance team in providing a value adding business partnering service to key stakeholders in Transaction Banking
- Delivery of wide range of month end deliverables including management accounting month end close processes, reporting pack creation and commentary to identify insight into key & emerging trends
- Wide stakeholder engagement across wider Finance / Product / Risk / Pricing & Treasury teams regarding all finance issues and initiatives delivering strong business partnering support.
- Be a trusted partner in all key decisions to ensure that Finance is involved & can influence key income decisions (including projects).
- Understand the primary income drivers of key business areas, both current and proposed so as to drive business performance and influencing decision making through key insights.
- Partnering with Finance VP and Business Head(s) to deliver strategy and financial performance, including across all key financial performance indicators (such as revenue, costs, balance sheet, risk-weighted assets, and returns)
- Support on commercial and strategic projects
- Supporting the end to end management of the P&L on behalf of the Business Head(s), including delivering targets
- Ensuring robustness of financial forecasts, including MTP, and stress tests
- Ensuring consistent and accurate messaging to Business Head(s) and Corporate and CB&P FD through both Finance and Business Lines
- Managing the messaging of external results including competitor analysis
- Providing accurate, transparent and timely reporting of key financial metrics to the BBPLC CFO, relevant Business Heads including the TB/Corporate CEOs, TB/Corporate ExCo, BBPLC ExCo, Group ExCo, the Board and / or appropriate Board Committees as required.

What we’re looking for:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience in a financial organization (specifically Business Partnering, Product or Financial Control)
- Knowledge of Corporate and Payments businesses and products preferred
