**Key Responsibilities**
- **Business Development**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the event and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) sectors.
- **Sales Strategy**: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and aligning solutions to meet them.
- **Proposal Creation**: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that address client objectives and deliver value.
- **Market Research**: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to identify new opportunities and strategies.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with internal teams, including event planning, marketing, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of events and client satisfaction.
- **Reporting & Forecasting**: Provide regular updates, sales reports, and forecasts to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years in event sales, business development, or a related role within the events industry.
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and sales skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- **Attributes**:

- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
