**Job Title: Kitchen Assistant**

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Food Preparation**: Assist chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients, such as washing, peeling, and chopping fruits, vegetables, and meats.

2. **Cooking Assistance**: Support kitchen staff during cooking processes by measuring and mixing ingredients, operating kitchen appliances, and following recipes accurately.

3. **Cleaning and Sanitisation**: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, sanitising work surfaces, and ensuring proper storage of food items.

4. **Inventory Management**: Assist in monitoring and replenishing inventory levels for food and kitchen supplies, notifying management when stock is low or depleted.

5. **Food Safety Compliance**: Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the freshness, quality, and safety of all food products.

6. **Assistance in Service**: Support kitchen staff during service periods by assembling dishes, garnishing plates, and ensuring timely delivery of food orders to customers.

7. **Organization and Efficiency**: Maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment by assisting in the arrangement of food items, equipment, and supplies.

8. **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

**Requirements**:
1. Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.

2. Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.

3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

6. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
