Job Description
  • Responsible for managing the P&L for personal loan, driving growth and management.
  • Build strategic partnerships with Banking / NBFC partners for the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the risk team to define appropriate risk parameters and influence the risk team to help grow the business sustainably.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and expand the personal loan product offering, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Develop and implement robust risk management practices, ensuring effective credit assessment, fraud prevention, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze market trends and customer preferences to position the organisation as a competitive player in the personal loan segment.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and technology teams, to ensure seamless and efficient personal loan operations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory standards and internal policies governing personal loan origination, servicing, and collections.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience in personal loan transactions, from application to repayment.
The Successful Applicant
  • MBA in Finance / General Management preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges (preferred).
  • 10+ years of proven experience in a leadership role within the financial services industry, with a focus on personal loans.
  • In-depth knowledge of credit risk management, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a personal loan portfolio.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with fintech trends and emerging technologies in the financial services sector.
  • Experience in collaborating with technology teams for the development of digital lending platforms.
  • Network and relationships within the financial industry.
