Position Summary:
VA Tech Wabag, a global leader in water technology and EPC solutions, is seeking a Leadership Recruiter to join our dynamic HR team. As a Individual Contributor role will focus on identifying and acquiring top-tier talent for leadership positions within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership hiring with 12+ years of experience, preferably within the EPC sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Talent Acquisition: Drive end-to-end recruitment for senior and leadership roles across global and regional operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top leadership talent, leveraging professional networks, industry connections, and digital platforms.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and HRBPs to understand role requirements, project needs, and organizational culture.
Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience, maintaining a strong employer brand throughout the hiring process.
Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends, talent availability, and competitive compensation insights.
Recruitment Metrics: Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and diversity metrics, ensuring continuous process improvement.
Executive Search Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with executive search firms to enhance talent acquisition efforts when needed.
Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices align with local labor laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in Leadership Talent Acquisition, with a significant focus on leadership hiring in the EPC or similar project-driven industries (infrastructure, oil & gas, energy, etc.).
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EPC industry, including engineering, procurement, and construction roles, and familiarity with global recruitment practices.
Skills:
Expertise in sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and professional networking.
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage high-level candidates and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making and strategy development.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Global Exposure: Experience in hiring for international markets or global leadership roles is highly desirable.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in talent acquisition, executive search, or HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) will be an advantage.
