Role Overview
The Project Coordinator IT will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and supporting IT projects across the organization. The role involves assisting project managers in planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The coordinator will act as a bridge between technical teams, stakeholders, and management to ensure smooth project progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and scheduling IT projects, including defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Track project progress, maintain documentation, and prepare regular status reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams (developers, system admins, network engineers, etc.) and external vendors.
- Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when necessary.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Manage and update Jira boards – create and assign
- tasks, monitor sprint progress, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Generate and share project progress reports using Jira dashboards and other project tracking tools.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) in coordination with project managers.
- Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when necessary.
- Maintain all project-related documentation (SOWs, requirements, technical specs, change requests).
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in IT project coordination or project support.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and infrastructure projects.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
