Role & responsibilities

Industry Collaboration & Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong ties with industries and organizations for student placement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HR professionals and recruiters to understand job market trends and employer expectations.
  • Organize campus placement drives, job fairs, and industry networking events.

Student Training & Career Development:

  • Conduct soft skills training, resume-building workshops, and interview preparation sessions.
  • Provide career counseling and job search guidance to students.
  • Organize industry interactions, guest lectures, and company visits.

Placement & Internship Coordination:

  • Facilitate student placements, internships, and apprenticeships.
  • Maintain placement records, prepare reports, and track student employment status.
  • Ensure high placement conversion rates through continuous engagement with recruiters.

Event Planning & Execution:

  • Plan and execute job fairs, mock interviews, and career guidance sessions.
  • Manage logistics for employer visits and placement-related events.

Communication & Student Engagement:

  • Act as a bridge between students, faculty, and employers to enhance career prospects.
  • Motivate students to actively participate in placement activities.
  • Address student queries related to job opportunities and career planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong industry connections to facilitate student placements and internships.
  • Organize campus drives, job fairs, industry visits, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to understand hiring trends and skill requirements.
  • Conduct soft skills, interview skills, and resume-building workshops.
  • Provide career counseling, guidance, and job search support to students.
  • Mobilize and engage students for training, skilling, and placement opportunities.
  • Maintain placement records, prepare reports, and ensure high conversion rates.
  • Act as a bridge between students, faculty, and corporate employers.

Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related fields.

  • MBA/PGDM preferred.

Experience: 2 to 3 years in a Training & Placement role, preferably in an educational or technical institution.

Required Skills:

  • 2- 3 years of experience in Training & Placement / Mobilization / Career Services.
  • Strong corporate relations and industry networking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Job Portals (Naukri, LinkedIn), and Database Management.
  • Ability to plan and execute placement-related events independently.
