Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) for our Bhopal region. The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with schools, distributors, and institutional clients, and driving business growth in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets for the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with schools, principals, teachers, distributors, and booksellers.
  • Promote PM Publishers' textbooks, digital solutions, and academic products through effective presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Lead, motivate, and monitor sales representatives/field executives in the region.
  • Conduct market research to understand competition, customer needs, and emerging trends.
  • Ensure timely collections and maintain strong distributor/channel partner networks.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and feedback to the management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven sales experience in publishing, education (experience in school/academic publishing preferred).
  • Strong network of schools, educators, and distributors in the Pune region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, achieve targets, and work under deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
