Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead our field vehicle sales operations for electric 3-wheelers in a designated area. The candidate must have hands-on experience in automobile sales, particularly in 2-wheelers or 3-wheelers, and should be comfortable working in a field-driven, target-oriented environment. The role involves frequent travel to develop dealer networks, generate vehicle sales, and grow market presence at the ground level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, appoint, and manage dealers to expand the sales network for electric 3-wheelers
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor vehicle sales performance and provide on-ground support
- Drive vehicle sales through dealer engagement, local marketing, and area-specific strategies
- Train dealer staff on product features, vehicle benefits, and sales techniques
- Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly vehicle sales targets in the assigned area
- Collect market intelligence and competitor insights through direct field interaction
- Prepare and submit timely sales reports, dealer feedback, and market updates
- Ensure adherence to local compliance, documentation, and vehicle registration norms
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in vehicle field sales (3-wheeler or 2-wheeler segment preferred)
- Educational Background: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Marketing is an advantage
- Technical Skills:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Familiarity with CRM or dealer management systems (preferred)
- Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and sales lifecycle for vehicles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and field execution skills
- Ability to work independently and manage sales targets across a territory
- Strong planning, multitasking, and time management abilities
