
Renewal Sales Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end renewal cycle for assigned accounts, ensuring timely closure of contracts.
- Achieve and exceed renewal sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Build strong customer relationships to improve retention and reduce churn.
- Collaborate with account managers, customer success, and technical teams to resolve customer concerns before renewal.
- Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and sales pipeline in CRM.
- Negotiate renewal terms, pricing, and contracts in line with company policies.
- Track customer usage patterns, product adoption, and satisfaction levels to identify risks and opportunities.
- Provide insights and feedback from customers to product and marketing teams.
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes, documentation, and governance requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Sales, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B IT sales, with at least 2–3 years in renewal/retention-focused roles.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS, cloud solutions, or IT software products (e.g., enterprise software, subscription-based models).
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Ability to analyze customer data and provide insights for retention strategies.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
