
Renewal Sales Manager

Job Description :
The Manager – Renewal Sales will be responsible for driving subscription/license renewals and recurring revenue from existing customers. This role focuses on customer retention, upselling, cross-selling, and ensuring a smooth renewal process while building long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in IT B2B sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end renewal cycle for assigned accounts, ensuring timely closure of contracts.
Achieve and exceed renewal sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
Build strong customer relationships to improve retention and reduce churn.
Collaborate with account managers, customer success, and technical teams to resolve customer concerns before renewal.
Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and sales pipeline in CRM.
Negotiate renewal terms, pricing, and contracts in line with company policies.
Track customer usage patterns, product adoption, and satisfaction levels to identify risks and opportunities.
Provide insights and feedback from customers to product and marketing teams.
Ensure compliance with all internal processes, documentation, and governance requirements.
Requirement:
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Sales, or related field (MBA preferred).
5–8 years of experience in B2B IT sales, with at least 2–3 years in renewal/retention-focused roles.
Strong knowledge of SaaS, cloud solutions, or IT software products (e.g., enterprise software, subscription-based models).
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
Ability to analyze customer data and provide insights for retention strategies.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹400, ₹450,000.00 per year
