Job Summary
Appstean is seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Business Development Representative to join our SaaS sales team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying qualified leads, engaging decision-makers, and driving interest in our cloud-based software solutions. This role is critical to building a strong sales pipeline and supporting our growth in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other digital channels to generate qualified leads
• Understand and articulate the value proposition of our SaaS products to potential clients
• Schedule product demos and discovery call for Account Executives and Sales Managers
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and lead status in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and campaigns with target personas and industries
• Stay updated on product features, industry trends, and competitive landscape
• Meet or exceed monthly KPIs related to outreach volume, lead conversion, and pipeline contribution
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT, or related field
• 0 months – 2 years of experience in SaaS sales, lead generation, or B2B tech outreach
• Strong understanding of software sales cycles and buyer personas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Preferred Attributes
• Prior experience selling cloud-based or enterprise software solutions
• Exposure to international markets or multi-regional outreach
• Knowledge of tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
