A new-age, better-for-you snacks startup is looking for a team member to lead its pan-India institutional channel sales effort.

The selected candidate will work directly with the founders to develop and grow the institutional business. This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing startup and become a part of building a large consumer brand in India.

ResponsibilitiesThe role will involve the following broad responsibilities:Primary responsibility for developing the institutional channel for the brand and end-to-end ownership of the associated sales targetsCreatively identify, pitch to, and activate new customers across channels such as vending machines, HORECA, airlines, corporate offices, school & college canteens, movie theatres, travel retail, etc.Generate leads and manage the funnel of prospects using modern CRM toolsCome up with ideas for new and unconventional sales channels and opportunitiesDevelop a strong relationship with existing clients to grow the brand within these accountsMaintain pricing and margin discipline while achieving growth targetsDevelop sales plans and forecasts and liaise with the supply chain team to ensure fulfilmentIdentify opportunities for brand building, visibility and other forms of marketing in these channelsGather business intelligence, market feedback, and competitor analysis to feed into overall company plans

Required Qualifications & CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in sales or business development at an FMCG/ F&B brandWork experience at a startup will be an added advantagePrior experience in institutional sales will be preferred but is not a must-have prerequisiteBachelor's degree from a reputed college; An MBA is not a pre-requisiteStrong verbal and written communication skillsA go-getter attitude with an entrepreneurial mindsetStrong adherence to the sales process disciplineConfident, pleasing and amiable personalityA very high level of personal integrity and uncompromising ethical behaviour
