**Job Title:** Business Development Manager - Scent Marketing


**Job Overview:**

As a Business Development Manager in our scent marketing company, you'll be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client base. Leveraging your expertise in sales and marketing, you'll identify opportunities, cultivate relationships, and create tailored scent marketing solutions for a diverse range of clients. Your goal will be to establish our company as a leader in scent marketing and increase our market presence.


**Key Responsibilities:**


1. **Market Research and Analysis:**

  - Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.

  - Analyze competitor offerings and market gaps to develop strategies for business growth.

  - Stay updated on advancements in scent marketing technology and industry regulations.


2. **Client Relationship Management:**

  - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

  - Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and upsell additional services.

  - Prospect and engage with potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other outreach methods.


3. **Customized Solutions Development:**

  - Collaborate with clients to understand their brand identity, target audience, and marketing objectives.

  - Design customized scent marketing solutions tailored to meet each client's specific needs and goals.

  - Present proposals and conduct product demonstrations to showcase the value of our offerings.


4. **Sales and Revenue Generation:**

  - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

  - Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.

  - Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and prepare regular reports for management review.


5. **Cross-functional Collaboration:**

  - Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  - Provide feedback from clients to inform product enhancements and service improvements.

  - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation and client onboarding.


**Qualifications:**


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

- Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the marketing or advertising industry.

- Strong understanding of scent marketing principles and techniques is advantageous.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and adapt to changing market dynamics.

- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
