Service Desk/Desktop Administrator

Work Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid

Work Time : 24*7 - rotational

Duties:

  • Answer the IT Service Desk voice line.
  • Monitor tickets/requests submitted to our Request Portal.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems for BCT in a timely, customer-focused manner.
  • Assist users with installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Assist in maintaining hardware inventory control.
  • Assist in the deployment of new computers to staff.
  • Escalate tickets/requests to appropriate BCT IT staff as necessary.
  • Document any open tickets/request that require hand-off or escalation to US Based IT staff for further resolution/assistance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge operating and troubleshooting Windows 10.
  • Strong knowledge operating and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and MS Teams.
  • General knowledge of remote connectivity solutions and troubleshooting.
