Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead, manage, and expand our sales operations within the assigned territory. The ASM will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strong distribution networks, and strengthening Patel Organix's presence across general trade, modern trade, institutional, and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Identify and onboard distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and modern trade accounts.

Expand market penetration for Patel Organix products in the assigned territory.

Channel Management

Build and strengthen relationships with trade partners, distributors, and key accounts.

Ensure effective secondary sales planning, order generation, and stock availability.

Manage promotional activities, trade schemes, and merchandising at outlets.

Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and manage sales officers/executives.

Motivate and monitor team performance against set targets.

Conduct regular market visits and joint working with sales team.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

Analyze competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.

Suggest innovative strategies for driving growth in organic FMCG space.

Provide timely feedback to management on sales performance and opportunities.

Reporting & Compliance

Maintain MIS reports, sales forecasts, and market feedback.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical practices, and brand standards.

Key Requirements:

Graduate/MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management.

7–10 years of proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably with exposure to organic / natural food brands.

Strong distributor/channel management experience.

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to drive sales through general trade, modern trade, and institutional channels.

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700, ₹900,000.00 per year
