GradRight won the HSBC Fintech Innovation Challenge supported by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India. GradRight’s team has extensive domestic and international experience launching and scaling premier higher education institutions. Alumni of IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, IIT Roorkee, ISB Hyderabad, and the University of Pennsylvania form the founding team at GradRight. GradRight is a Delaware, USA-registered company with a wholly-owned subsidiary in India. It has raised Series A investments from IvyCap Ventures
Core Responsibilities:
Strategy and planning:
1. Develop a prospect base of Indian Universities by designing frameworks and strategies that aligns with the business goals of GradRight2. Analyze market trends and threats by competitors in order to develop the right product and business plans for the particular region3. Work cross functionally with different teams to execute engagement events across the region4. Work on different mechanisms to maximize student engagement and stakeholder satisfaction across accounts5. Explore different opportunities for collaboration and expansion of business within the domestic accounts
Execution:
1. Build a pipeline of Universities and Colleges for partnerships and extract business through them2. Identify the right stakeholders inside the ecosystem - University officials, Student body representatives, promoters etc. and expand business opportunities through them3. Active promote GradRight and its services through different engagement channels within the University to drive business and brand awareness4. Oversee a growing team to ensure revenues and maintenance of relationships with such institutions
Qualifications: MBA from a Tier ½ Business School with an undergraduate degree in engineering or sciences or Math will be preferred but it is NOT MANDATORY, if you are self-taught and if your experience demonstrates your proficiency and skills required for this role.
Skills and Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience in University partnerships in higher-education/ed-tech sector2. Experience in early-stage/growth-stage start-ups in the education sector will be preferred
Location: Gurugram, Hyderabad, Pune
Compensation: 15L to 20L depending on experience and the right skillset fitment
