Key Responsibilities

A hustler who understands a creative agency's business landscape can build and cultivate a robust client portfolio and can maintain a good rapport and interaction with existing partners, ensuring all issues are conveyed and resolved.

Business Development & Alliances- 75%

a. Can conduct deep market research and form deep networking to understand the business

landscape.

b. Have an understanding of the competition strategies and pricing prevalent in the market.

c. Target and pitch to new high-value partners across all open industries and find mutual synergies for

taking the alliance forward. Should be able to prioritize companies with Creative requirements

and value-added requirements at ongoing basis.

d. Can conduct deep market research and form deep networking to understand the business

landscape.

e. Have an understanding of the competition strategies and pricing prevalent in the market.

f. Target and pitch to new high-value partners across all open industries and find mutual synergies for

taking the alliance forward. Should be able to prioritize on companies with Creative requirements

and value-added requirements at ongoing basis.

g. Should have a PnL mindset and take full ownership of the project. The job incumbent should also

be versed with the financials i.e. revenue and cost breakup to maximize the top line and minimize the

costs.

h. Should have a basic understanding of Digital Marketing and be able to source leads from these

channels.

Process Adherence- 10%

a. Take end-to-end responsibility for lead generation, maintaining a healthy pipeline, and maintaining

records of all such leads.

b. Provide inputs and develop collaterals for partner presentations and respond to new proposals

c. Adhering to the methodology being followed by the organizational process and SoPs.

Stakeholder Management- 15%

a. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders such as Production, Creative,

Operations, Editing, Legal, Compliance, and Accounts for Partner Onboarding.

b. Ensure smooth settlements, and dispute resolution of the channel partners, including partner and

vendor reconciliations of payments and invoice management.

c. Monitor key portfolio and financial metrics for all partners and take full control of the finances of

the partner onboarded.

d. Prepare and share required reports with concerned stakeholders or partners from time to time.

e. Liaison with external stakeholders such as Project Managers, Accounts team, Finance team,

Marketing Team, Sales, etc of all entities to perform all the tasks as discussed above.

Qualifications

1. Should have at least 3-4 years of overall work experience in Sales/Business Development/Client Acquisition and Servicing/Alliances and Partnerships.

2. Professionals only from either Media/Media-tech/Journalism or Allied industries would be preferred.

3. Candidates with a Degree in Mass Communication/Journalism/Mass Media would be preferred and an MBA degree/diploma with 1-2 years would be an added advantage.
