Job Description

Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the lending business, with a strong emphasis on distribution expansion and market reach. Lead and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve business objectives. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies. Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Drive product development initiatives based on market insights and customer feedback, ensuring relevance and competitiveness of offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, risk management, and operations, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business strategies. Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate credit and operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Drive performance metrics and KPIs, regularly monitoring and evaluating business performance against targets. Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the lending division, promoting a customer-centric approach and a strong commitment to quality and integrity.

The Successful Applicant

Proven track record of 10+ years in a leadership role within the banking or NBFC sector, with a focus on lending products and distribution. Strong understanding of lending products, credit risk assessment, and regulatory compliance requirements in the Indian financial services industry. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing distribution strategies to drive business growth and market expansion. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Exceptional analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high degree of adaptability and resilience.
