Designation: Pre-sales Executive
Location: Chennai
Experience: 1 to 4 years
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Lead Qualification
- Engage with students from paid campaigns, business development channels, and cold sources.
- Assess student intent, academic background, and eligibility.
- Disqualify leads not meeting basic criteria.
- Move only "Qualified" leads to counsellors for further guidance.
2. App & Portal Adoption (Product-Led Growth Focus)
- Ensure every student registers on the Edvoy portal and downloads the app before progressing.
- Educate students on app benefits: remote counselling, chat, real-time updates, and access to services (loan, visa, accommodation).
- Reinforce that the app is the only channel for document submission.
- Strictly avoid collection of documents via WhatsApp/email.
3. Document Collection & Readiness
- Guide students on required documents upfront (passport, transcripts, English test scores, SOPs, etc.).
- Check for completeness and accuracy before transferring to counsellors.
- Track pending documents in CRM and send timely reminders via the app.
4. Data Quality & CRM Hygiene
- Maintain accurate, updated lead information with mandatory fields completed.
- Avoid duplication and ensure clear, concise notes are recorded for counsellors.
- Maintain high standards of data discipline to streamline student handovers.
