About Material Depot:Material Depot is building the Ultimate Home Decor Destination—redefining how India shops for interiors - tiles, laminates, wall decor, and more.Our online catalogue enables us to understand design trends in real time and work directly with manufacturers to launch new collections at speed —something the traditional supply chain can't match.By cutting out middlemen, we deliver significantly better prices and consistent, standardized service across every order.Trusted by 10,000+ homes, Material Depot is transforming a ₹100,000 crore industry—making premium interiors faster, smarter, and more accessible than ever before.Some stats about us :We are backed by Accel, Whiteboard, YCombinator, and other global investors, and are a small, well-funded company.We’re one of the largest retailers of home interior goods in Bangalore, helping build 10,000+ homes every yearEven as a 2-year-old company, we have been profitable with a scale of $5M annualised revenueRole Overview We’re hiring a B2B Sales Lead who will be on the field daily, meeting architects, interior designers, and contractors, building relationships, generating enquiries, and driving large-ticket sales.Location & EmploymentLocation: Bangalore (On-site)Employment Type & Compensation:Full-time - 14-18 LPA + incentivesKey Responsibilities Key Account Management & Daily Client MeetingsActively scout new architect firms, interior designers, contractors, and OEMs.Present Material Depot’s product range, share samples, and generate qualified enquiries.Revenue OwnershipOwn the entire sales funnel - from lead generation to negotiation and closureDrive repeat orders and higher wallet share with top accountsTeam Leadership (4-5 members)Lead, coach, and motivate the key account management team.Set weekly activity targets (visits, calls, site meetings) and ensure consistent execution.Conduct weekly reviews, shadow meetings, and performance feedback sessions.Process DisciplineMaintain CRM hygiene - update visits, calls, meetings, and enquiries daily.Track conversions, funnel health, and revenue progress.Coordinate with procurement, store, and operations teams for smooth fulfillment.Requirements 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales (interior materials or similar industries preferred)You enjoy meeting people, visiting sites, and building relationships.Strong network or prior experience with architects, interior designers, contractors, or OEMs is a major plus.Proven track record of delivering large monthly targets and leading teamHigh ownership, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder handling.
