We are looking for talented and driven professionals to join our team that will be responsible for
generating business interactions between the foreign dynamic tech-driven ecosystem and the Indian market.
What you will do as a Trade Officer for a Foreign Government:
- Assisting foreign companies and startups in their business development efforts in India
- Mapping win-win opportunities for both Indian and foreign, public and private sector organizations, matchmaking and arranging meetings between them, follow-up on the same.
- Understanding foreign companies' business scopes and the Indian market's needs, identifying and developing the appropriate channels and contacts, and facilitating business opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Government of India and Trade and Professional Associations, and getting access the top-level officials when necessary
- Conducting market and economic researches
- Analyzing and monitoring regulatory trade related information (policy changes, incentives etc.)
- Advertising events, business opportunities and activities using social media, blogs and other platforms.
You are the right fit if your background consists of:
- Education: Bachelor's degree – required. Master’s level degree – an advantage. (Economy, Finances or Marketing is an Advantage)
- Minimum 5 years work experience in the areas of international trade, investments, business development for a large Private or Public organization, preferably in the Western India Region.
- Proven knowledge of the international trade sector in India, its stockholders, private companies and regulatory bodies.
- Experience of project management in multicultural environment
- Sector understanding of Indian ecosystem (Private and Gov.)
Skills and qualities that will make a perfect candidate with the right background:
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactiveness, ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
- Full control of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Fluent verbal Hindi and English
- Passion to work with tech companies and startups - an advantage
- Experience in using social media as a Marketer as well as online design tools
Additional Benefits:
- 4.5 work days / week

Starting Time: January 2025, under considerations of internal recruitment procedures
Initial Salary: Approx. 93,000 INR + travel allowance + Mobile Reimbursement + 13 month Bonus
