Job Summary:Coforge Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President - State Government Sales to lead and drive our state government business across the North and East regions. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and achieving significant revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate and capture market share in the North and East regionsTeam Management : Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve aggressive sales targetsBusiness Development : Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with state government departments and agenciesClient Relationships : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at the state government levelSales Execution : Drive the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring timely and accurate deal executionPerformance Management : Track and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsPartner Ecosystem : Develop and manage strong relationships with OEMs, consultants, and other partners to expand market reach and accelerate sales

Role Competency:Proven track record of success in leading and managing large sales teams in the government sector, particularly state governmentsDeep understanding of the government procurement process, tendering procedures, and regulatory frameworksStrong knowledge of the North and East regions, including key government departments and agenciesExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with government officials at various levelsStrong leadership and team management skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesMBA or equivalent degree preferred
