Executive Sales Director for State Government Initiatives

At Coforge Limited, we are seeking an experienced Executive Sales Director to lead our State Government IT business across the North and East regions.

Salary: ₹2,500,000 - ₹3,500,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We require a sales professional with a deep understanding of government procurement processes, established relationships with key stakeholders, and proven experience in state government sales within a system integration company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts in the North and East regions, focusing on IT business opportunities within state governments
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior bureaucrats, government officials, and decision-makers to influence and drive sales
  • Develop a thorough understanding of government tenders, procurement processes, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, bids, and other documentation necessary for government projects

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of overall sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in state government sales
  • Experience working in a System Integration company, with deep familiarity in selling IT solutions to state governments
  • Strong knowledge of government business processes, including familiarity with government tenders, procurement policies, and contract management
