Job Description for the Position of Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant
About Us
At Wilson Composites India LLP, we are manufacturers of custom architectural fiberglass (FRP) and GFRC products for the commercial construction industry. We specialize in design, engineering, and fabrication.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, organized bookkeeper and administrative assistant.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 45 hours per week. Late evening hours are required to have an overlap with the U.S.-based team.
Location
Lower Parel, Mumbai.
Overview of Responsibilities: Primary: General Accounting and Administration
Ensuring ledger entries are made for Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Journals are entered accurately and on time.
Recording and filing transactions.
Working with spreadsheets, ledgers, and journals.
Creating and editing standard procedures for bookkeeping
Working on Quick Books for US-based companies
Working on Tally for the Indian-based entity
General administrative work for the US-based owner and the India-based project management team.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Minimum.
Working experience as an Accounts Assistant
Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
Knowledge of financial regulations or standards of both the US and India (preferred)
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks experience required, Tally experience helpful)
Organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Minimum Education
Commerce Graduate, or BMS in Finance.
Work Experience: 1–3 years.
Salary: ₹3 Lacs–₹4 Lacs per annum, negotiable based on experience.
