Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Elasticsearch Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Elasticsearch clusters in large-scale production environments. As an Elasticsearch Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing search performance, ensuring high availability and scalability, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters to support various applications and use cases.

- Optimize search performance through query optimization, index tuning, and infrastructure optimization.

- Monitor Elasticsearch clusters for performance, availability, and security vulnerabilities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Elasticsearch performance, indexing, and search functionality.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Elasticsearch with other systems and applications.

- Develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of Elasticsearch clusters.

- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Elasticsearch and search engine technologies.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience working with Elasticsearch in production environments.

- In-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch architecture, including indices, shards, and replicas.

- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch query DSL, mappings, and analyzers.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Groovy.

- Experience with Elasticsearch monitoring and alerting tools such as Elastic Stack (ELK), Grafana, and Prometheus.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other search and analytics technologies such as Apache Solr, Lucene, or Splunk.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
