We seek an experienced Strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales team in developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, expand customer base, and enhance market share. This role combines sales leadership, training, and business development to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
2. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales plans.
3. Identify and prioritize target accounts, industries, and geographic regions.
Sales Team Leadership:
1. Manage, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales excellence.
2. Recruit, train, and develop new sales talent.
3. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Training & Development:
1. Design and deliver sales training programs to enhance skills and product knowledge.
2. Develop and implement sales process improvements.
3. Conduct regular sales performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Business Development:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting.
3. Negotiate and close complex sales deals.
Revenue Growth & Performance:
1. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
2. Monitor sales performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, sales cycle length).
3. Adjust sales strategies based on performance data.
Collaboration & Communication:
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Success).
2. Communicate sales strategies, progress, and challenges to senior leadership.
3. Ensure seamless customer handoffs to post-sales teams.
Requirements:
Essential:
1. 5+ years of sales management experience in a ERP industry.
2. Proven track record of sales growth and team leadership.
3. Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and best practices.
4. Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
5. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Desirable:
1. Experience with CRM software (e.g., (link unavailable)).
2. Knowledge of sales analytics and performance metrics.
3. Certification in sales or sales management (e.g., CSP, CSM).
