What are we not looking for?
1. Mere Delegator. Co-ordinator. Program Manager. Selling is the only strong point.2. Does not have Engineering mindset & advanced Tech knowledge3. Never championed the solutions in the FoW ecosystem or anything similar4. Does not have time for Collaboration and believes process improvement is not their responsibility5. Prefers to go-to-market on their own and finds working in team is not successful strategy6. A safe player. Not a Mistake maker. Not used to taking bold meaningful bets every month smartly & swiftly.
What is important & relevant for this role:
1. Communication: Excellent speaker. No excuses. Technology interpreter.2. Engagement across demographic & global teams internally.3. Brings noticeable pride in leading and delivering substantially large scale and / or complex deals.4. Been part of the digital natives & cloud ecosystem. Up to date on all the current technologies and future vision.5. Don’t have to be an Einstein or Nostradamus but ability to see future and speak at an advanced level of numerics (Data) - interpreting, analyzing, strategizing & presenting meaningful outcomes.6. Enterprising personality that reassures success within the C-level and tech leadership community.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze market conditions and trends, identify opportunities and create a pipeline of short, mid and long term opportunities.- Lead identification through research, networking and leveraging the use of social networks.- Generate a sales pipeline that can help exceed sales targets. Work closely with the Business Development team and GCP team to foster targeted outreach plans.- Ensure continued customer satisfaction levels and develop Searce’s image as a capable and a trusted reliable technology partner.- Driving both hunting & farming strategies to penetrate the market with a sniper-approach based on carefully put together market intelligence.- Drive agreements by leveraging the partner ecosystem.
Qualification
1. Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Bachelor’s degree.2. Or else, did you leverage sales & consulting strategies to help your friend’s business scale up while in High School? For us, the latter is better as it shows you have the required mindset. We will find you faster if you specify the latter in some manner. :)3. Minimum 3 years of consulting/selling/closing deals in the Future of Work space i.e. selling GWS, O365, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Box, Facebook Workplace etc.4. Critical thinking, decisiveness and ability to work well in demanding & ambiguous client environments.5. Love for constantly doing better, in everything.6. Ability to work in a growth mindset, fast-paced environment.7. Experience in start-up/scaling a growth stage organization would be valuable & preferred.8. Experience and ability to deliver Change Management projects
