Founding Sales Strategist - TabTechLocation: Remote (India) | Type: Full-timeCompensation: ₹30,000/month base + 10% commission on closed dealsRealistic OTE: ₹60,000-₹1,00,000/month after ramp-upThe OpportunityTabTech isn't looking for someone to "just execute" a sales playbook. We're looking for someone to build it with us from scratch .We've got the foundation:Product-market fit with funded startups (clients include GenxPV, Wolken Software)Clear ideal client profile (seed/Series A founders, $10K-$100K MRR)Strong positioning and brand understandingProven ability to close dealsWhat we're missing: A repeatable, scalable sales engine that doesn't depend on the founder's network.That's where you come in.What This Role Actually IsYou'll sit with the founder (me) to architect our entire sales strategy, then build and execute it yourself. You're not joining a machine—you're building the machine.This means:Debating which segments to target and whyDesigning our outbound motion (email sequences, LinkedIn strategy, timing)Creating messaging frameworks that convert foundersTesting, iterating, and documenting what worksExecuting campaigns personally while building the playbookEventually making yourself scalable (so we can hire SDRs under you)This is 40% strategy, 60% execution. You'll be in Google Docs with me on Monday architecting the approach, then in Apollo.io on Tuesday sending personalized emails.What You'll OwnStrategic Responsibilities (Your Brain) Co-create our sales strategy with the founder through weekly sessionsDesign our ideal client segmentation beyond "funded startups" (which verticals? which stage? which geography?)Build our messaging framework and positioning for different segmentsCreate our outbound playbook (channels, sequences, personalization strategy)Define what "good" looks like (metrics, qualification criteria, success benchmarks)Identify market opportunities we're currently missingExecution Responsibilities (Your Hands) Execute outbound campaigns personally (email + LinkedIn primary channels)Research and build targeted lists of qualified startup foundersWrite compelling, personalized outreach (not generic templates)Qualify inbound leads from website and contentRun discovery calls and close deals (you own the full sales cycle)Build sales collateral, case studies, and email templatesManage pipeline in Apollo.io and report on metricsDocument everything so we can scaleYou're Perfect For This If ✅ Experience & Skills:1-2 years in B2B sales (agency, SaaS, consulting, or startup)You've done outbound sales or business development beforeYou can write compelling copy (cold emails, LinkedIn messages)Comfortable with sales tools (Apollo.io, LinkedIn, CRMs, email automation)Startup experience strongly preferred (you understand founder psychology)✅ Mindset & Approach:You're a strategic thinker who can also execute tacticallyYou love testing, iterating, and learning from dataYou're comfortable with ambiguity—building the plane while flying itYou can articulate WHY you make strategic decisions, not just what you doYou're intellectually curious and ask great questionsYou're self-directed and don't need hand-holding✅ Working Style:You enjoy collaborative ideation (brainstorming with the founder)You can push back respectfully when you disagreeYou document your work so others can learn from itYou're comfortable switching between strategy docs and execution toolsYou measure success by outcomes, not activity metricsThis Is NOT For You If❌ Deal-Breakers:You need established processes and clear SOPs to succeedYou want to "just execute" without strategic ownershipYou can't handle rejection or slow initial progressYou need a team or big budget to get resultsYou're looking for a stable, predictable 9-5 roleYou can't write personalized outreach (and hate doing research)You expect someone else to generate leads for youCompensation₹30,000/month base + 10% commission on each deal closedAverage ticket size: $3,000-$5,000 USD (₹2.5L-₹4.2L)Example earnings:Close 1 deal/month @ ₹3.5L = ₹30K base + ₹35K commission = ₹65K totalClose 3 deals/month @ ₹3.5L = ₹30K base + ₹1.05L commission = ₹1.35L totalQuestions before applying?Email with "Quick Question" in the subject line.Let's build something that works.- Shubham BhanushaliFounder, TabTech
