Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and expand our market presence in Maharashtra.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders in the road construction industry.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitable growth for the company.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and report on regional sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the road construction equipment industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Maharashtra market and established network within the region.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
