Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and drive sales for our Health Care Division Ethical & Generics (Classical range) products.

The position will be based out of Hyderabad/Bangalore, and will be responsible for driving sales in the South India region.

This leadership role requires strategic thinking, deep market insight of Ayurveda industry (Ayurveda doctors, Ayurveda outlets, and Channel partners) and strong team management skills to ensure regional sales growth, market share improvement, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in pharmaceutical or Ayurveda sales, strong expertise in channel development, budgeting, trade marketing, and people development, along with a solid understanding of sales strategy implementation and distribution management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive regional sales strategy and execution for HCD Ethical & Generic product lines.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and budgets aligned with national business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team, including Area Sales Managers and Officers.
  • Design and manage distribution strategy across channels to expand market coverage.
  • Support product launches and trade marketing initiatives for enhanced brand visibility
  • Monitor financial performance, sales forecasting, and budget control.
  • Optimize trade partner engagement and improve sales process efficiencies.
  • Track market trends, competition, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, ROI tracking, and claim management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including doctors, chemists, and ayurvedic practitioners.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing from a recognized institution.
  • 15 + years of experience in sales within the Ayurvedic, Pharma or Ethical & Generics segment.
  • Prior experience as Regional Sales Manager, Zonal Sales Manager, or Senior Area Sales Manager preferred.
  • Proficient in healthcare sales operations, distribution management, and team leadership.
