We are seeking a Sales Professional with specialized experience in selling to the academic sector, from primary to college levels. This role requires someone with a strong background in engaging with government colleges, schools, and familiar with educational procurement portals like Atal Tinkering Labs and GeM.

Job Title: - Head of sales - Education

Location: Delhi , NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai – Frequent travel to educational institutions across India.

Job Type: Full-time


Responsibilities:

  • Develop tailored sales strategies for educational institutions to promote the adoption of electronic components and DIY products.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government schools, colleges, and educational bodies.
  • Leverage Atal Tinkering Labs and GeM portals for procurement processes and partnership opportunities.
  • Conduct seminars and workshops to demonstrate product applications relevant to educational curriculums.
  • Travel extensively to meet with educators and administrators to understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Keep abreast of the latest educational trends and technology to effectively align sales strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, specifically within the educational sector.
  • Proven track record of successful sales to educational institutions, with a deep understanding of government procurement processes.
  • We are looking for someone who can build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions, government bodies, and other stakeholders to influence purchasing decisions and secure long-term contracts.
  • Familiarity with Atal Tinkering Labs and GeM is a must.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Motivated, strategic thinker with strong planning and execution abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
