We say what we do/We do what we sayMissed opportunities are our biggest risksWe don't compromise on qualityWe lead by being LEANWe listen more than we talkToday is about tomorrowThe SEST Sub-Segment Head is responsible for leading the system engineering and system testing responsibilities for PET and SPECT Scanner portfolio within the Molecular Imaging business line at Development Centre (DC). This role will be instrumental in both defining the right product for PET/SPECT and ensuring it's built right.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• System capabilities: Enhancing System and clinical capabilities of the team to holistically define, realize, verify & validate solutions understanding System boundaries, Stakeholder needs, Technical & Business constraints, throughout the complete system lifecycle.• Strategy: Implements Molecular Imaging business and people strategies in accordance with the Scanner product line programs in DI-MI. Enable the team to optimize TCO/TVO with efficient and effective solutions, reusability across modalities, robust test strategies to maintain the highest quality and performance standards.• Leadership and People management: Craft and execute a comprehensive talent management strategy that includes attraction, recruitment, nurturing, and retention of top talent, aligning with the organization's immediate and long-term objectives and leveraging its core competencies. Foster a culture of high engagement within teams, contributing significantly to the organization's overarching engagement objectives.• Budget and operational responsibility: Responsible for planning and execution of programs, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within the allocated budget, and in compliance with established process frameworks and support functions.• Innovation: Drives contributions to product, service, and process innovation through targeted projects and goals that impact business and organizational results (e.g., shift left initiatives, productivity, etc.)• Process excellence & Compliance: Ensures the quality of processes and drives process improvement initiatives. Together with Quality Management functions, institutionalizes, and monitors product quality. Ensures compliance to regulatory bodies of AERB, CDSCO for scanner labs and the R&D activities performed within DC MI. •Customer collaboration: Actively expands presence of Siemens Healthineers in the local markets through research and development collaborations with customers. Uses strong clinical network and customer relationships to enable development of healthcare knowledge and drive innovation contributions.Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Experience in various R&D and management functions, minimum 12+ years of professional experience (Preferably in system engineering & system development areas) including 4+ years in managing teams with diverse roles and backgrounds.Experience in R&D processes (system-based solutions and products) and in implementation of strategies.Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as coaching & team building skills. At least 5 years of functional leadership experience and managing people (including performance and competence management, personal development, and coaching).Excellent writing, presentation, commercial and communication skills.Strong leadership, collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
