About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Red Rhino, Whitefield. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Continental/European cuisine and versatility across other cuisines such as Indian and Pan Asian. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring quality standards, managing inventory, and supporting the Head Chef in leading the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and execute menus primarily focused on Continental/European cuisine.
  • Ensure exposure and versatility in other cuisines such as Indian and Pan Asian.
  • Manage kitchen operations including indents, inventory, and stock control.
  • Identify and maintain high-quality produce standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Efficiently handle and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Assist in menu development, costing, and promotions.
  • Maintain a collaborative and positive work environment within the kitchen.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef in a reputed hospitality setup.
  • Strong expertise in Continental/European cuisine.
  • Working knowledge of Indian and Pan Asian cuisines is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory management, indents, and quality control.
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards consistently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70, ₹80,000.00 per month
