About the Role

Ananda Services is seeking a dedicated and proactive

HR Manager

to establish and manage the HR function for a fast-growing startup managing multiple brands. This is a hands-on role involving a wide variety of tasks, from driving the end-to-end recruitment process to fostering company culture and developing HR policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical hiring and a passion for building HR processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding :Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.Actively engage with hiring channels like LinkedIn, university recruitment, and others to build a pool of quality candidates.Handle technical hiring for roles in graphic/motion design, video editing, content writing, software engineering, and web development.HR Policy & Employee Relations :Develop and implement core HR policies in alignment with the founders’ vision.Foster a positive and engaging company culture.Manage employee relations and address grievances effectively.HR Operations & Talent Branding :Handle documentation and payroll management.Build a strong employer brand on LinkedIn to attract top talent.Continuously improve the hiring process to secure the best candidates efficiently.Performance Management :Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems.Monitor and improve employee satisfaction and retention rates.

Qualifications

Education : Degree in Business with a major in HR or equivalent.Experience :At least 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.Proven experience in technical hiring for creative and tech roles.Certifications : HR-related certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) are a plus.Skills :Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficiency with HR tools and software.Familiarity with labor laws and compliance.Ability to manage recruitment pipelines and build effective screening processes.

Performance Expectations

Develop the HR function, policies, and procedures from scratch.Build a streamlined, efficient recruitment pipeline that delivers high-quality candidates quickly.Maintain high employee morale and strong alignment between the founders’ expectations and employee performance.Establish the company as a top employer through talent branding and innovative HR practices.
