Summary:


Crackverbal is seeking a talented and driven YouTube Channel Manager to join our team and take our channel to new heights. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our YouTube channel, creating compelling content, and engaging with our audience. Success in this position means increased subscribers, higher engagement rates, and improved channel performance. This role is integral to our digital presence and overall marketing strategy, helping us reach and support more students and professionals in their educational journeys.


Responsibilities:


  • YouTube SEO Optimization: Utilize tools like VidIQ and TubeBuddy to optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails to enhance search rankings and discoverability.


  • Content Strategy Development: Create and implement a content strategy that aligns with our brand and audience preferences, ensuring a consistent and engaging upload schedule.


  • Growth Strategies: Stay informed about the latest YouTube trends and algorithm changes, implementing effective strategies to increase subscribers and views.


  • Video Production: Design graphics and thumbnails using tools like Canva, and edit videos using AI video editing tools for both long-form content and YouTube Shorts.


  • Analytics and Reporting: Navigate YouTube Creator Studio to monitor and analyze channel performance, using data insights to refine strategies and improve results.


  • Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community among subscribers by managing comments, YouTube Shorts, and community posts, and responding to viewer feedback.


  • Promotional Activities: Promote videos across various platforms, and run paid advertising campaigns to boost visibility and engagement.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with content creators and the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new content ideas and promotional strategies.


Qualifications:


Experience: You've got proven experience in managing a YouTube channel, with a track record of growing subscribers and views. Whether you've worked with an influencer YT channel or run your own, we want to hear about it (references required, of course).


Skills:


  • A wizard at YouTube SEO, keyword research, and optimization tools like VidIQ and TubeBuddy.


  • Proficient with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, AI tools) – your thumbnails and videos pop


  • Excellent analytical skills to turn YouTube analytics data into actionable insights that drive channel growth.


  • A creative thinker bursting with innovative ideas for content and growth, essential for standing out in the crowded YouTube landscape.


  • Stellar communication and collaboration skills, crucial for coordinating with team members and reaching out to influencers, partners, and other stakeholders.


Education: Relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred. But we also invite people who have gone to the school of "hard knocks" to apply :)


Passion: Enthusiasm for education and helping others achieve their goals. This may sound trivial but we believe this is what will keep you going beyond the paycheck.
