The ServiceNow ITSM Developer plays a crucial role in designing and developing efficient solutions in the ServiceNow platform, specifically focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM). The position is vital for ensuring seamless operations and enhanced user experience within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for ServiceNow functionalityDesign, develop, and implement custom applications and workflows in ServiceNow ITSMPerform system integration and data migration tasks within the ServiceNow platformConfigure and customize ServiceNow modules and applications to meet business needsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow ITSM platformImplement best practices for coding, testing, and implementing ServiceNow solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on ServiceNow development projectsImplement and maintain

ServiceNow integrations

with third-party systems.Integrations:

Implement integrations with other systems

and applications using REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data flow.Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, especially in ITSM and CMDB.Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing solutions that meet user requirementsParticipate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and review sessionsKeep up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices and new featuresMonitor and optimize ServiceNow performance.Development: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow best practices.Reporting and Analytics: Create and manage reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor platform performance and support decision-making.Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.Best Practices: Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve the platform.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams..User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow users, resolving issues in a timely manner.Translate functional specifications into logical, competent-based technical designsCoordinate with vendor for ServiceNow product defectsPlanning, organizing, and managing work in an Agile Scrum work model utilizing Sprint and Kanban processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certificationMinimum of 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementationStrong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for ServiceNow customizationExperience in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practicesProficiency in configuring and managing the CMDB within ServiceNowProven experience in ServiceNow integration with external systems and applicationsKnowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environmentsProficiency in SQL and database management for ServiceNowExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectivelyExperience in developing and implementing Service Portal or other user interfaces is a plusServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plusExperience in performance tuning and optimization of ServiceNow implementations is a plus
