Title - Regional Sale Manager- Extension Business

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Manage regional franchisee partners with focus on sales and developing a route to market channel. Create Business opportunity by increasing sales directly proportional to royalty earnings. This role aims in creating more visibility for our brand extension portfolio. Selection of right franchisee partners and execution. Identify vacant regions and plan for positioning required franchisee system. Support Business head to achieve sales, royalty goals. Build Luxury portfolio online and offline with a flair in scaling new business

TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

  • MBA with specialization in Marketing (tier I/ II institute )

Experience:

  • 4-5 years’ experience in sales, retail, modern trade, route to market strategies
  • Worked in a Digital Eco System with experience of handling digital sales.

Knowledge & skills:

  • Knowledge of secondary sales, development of retail channel
  • Franchisee partner network selection through right partner selection and market information
  • Managing Franchisee reporting system on monthly sales & other QC reports
  • In time royalty collection process with franchisee, maintain financial discipline in respective region
  • Maintain QC reports and manage all internal & external Quality queries
  • Involves tasks around defining the metrics of the extension business, finalizing right partners, due diligence, contracting, launch in market, post launch measurement and running day-to-day operations
  • Manage corporate accounts on supplies with document submission, negotiation and co-ordination with franchisee at regional level
  • Knowledge on retail, modern trade, other channels of business, to penetrate new product lines. Develop business plan for luxury portfolio through online Quick comms, MT's etc.

  • With Beverage business experience, managing retail routes / distributors / Market go getter
  • Good inter-personal skills to manage large corporates & modern trade outlets / Online formats
  • Confidence to work with varied levels of bottlers, franchisees.
  • Strong Negotiation skills

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop sales system within allocated regions with focus on secondaries
  • Develop franchisee system by appointing new partners in un represented areas
  • Financial Discipline by on time Royalty collection through franchisee partners
  • Develop and establish a route to market which acts as lever for any Diageo future launches of Non-Alco Bev Business
  • Co-ordinate with RPC's at regular intervals for any of their requirements
  • Manage large Corporate for supply of bulk water business, act as a brand custodian for negotiation at varied levels.
  • Develop route to market in assigned territory for being future ready with any new launches
  • Manage new product introduction and business through retail placement and development of secondaries
  • Manage new partners for new business development
  • Venture into new channels of modern trade, luxury trade with premium lines of business. Develop and scale new business for better revenue generation & ASCI qualification
  • Should be well versed with Digital capabilities
  • Manage all leading E comm platforms for listing, increasing visibility, delivering tertiaries across all online platforms.
  • Lead entire online sales eco-system for brand extensions, work with in house agencies to develop a 360 digital plan on brand extension business. –
  • Monitor competition, aggressive digital push for all extensions, manage Diageo' s own web platform for extension sales
