Job description:
We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Sr. Relationship Executive / Lead to spearhead our institutional outreach and partnerships with universities and high schools. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in B2B relationship management, a deep understanding of academic and institutional needs, and the ability to drive meaningful engagement through consultative selling and strategic relationship development. This role requires initiative, leadership, and a passion for building long-term partnerships that align with our mission in the educational publishing space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with universities and high schools
- Understand institutional needs and recommend tailored academic and test prep solutions
- Communicate product value with clarity and confidence, demonstrating in-depth knowledge
- Conduct virtual and on-site meetings with academic stakeholders and decision-makers
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering consultative, client-focused solutions
- Identify key decision-makers and buyer personas within institutions
- Drive upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue and client value
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies
- Maintain consistent, value-driven communication with leads and partners
- Track and report KPIs related to relationship growth and sales performance
- Present regular updates, insights, and activity summaries to leadership
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and academic publishing developments
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales, B2B, Business Development, or similar client-facing roles
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet targets
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM or similar platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field
- Team player with a proactive, consultative sales approach
