Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales and technical teams to design and present tailored technology solutions that address client requirements. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to engage with customers, understand their needs, and deliver compelling solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements, business challenges, and technical needs.
- Design, architect, and present end-to-end technical solutions aligned with client requirements and organizational offerings.
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to customers.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and proposals with accurate and compelling technical solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating the value proposition of solutions in both technical and business terms.
- Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams to validate solution feasibility and accuracy.
- Provide guidance on pricing, licensing, and solution configurations during the presales cycle.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively position company solutions.
- Support sales closure by addressing technical objections and building client confidence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Solution Architect, Presales Consultant, or Technical Consultant in (your industry/sector, e.g., IT services, SaaS, cloud solutions).
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as cloud computing, networking, security, enterprise applications, SaaS, or custom solutions (adjust per company domain).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in RFP/RFI responses, proposal creation, and solution presentations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, TOGAF, ITIL, etc.) are highly desirable.
